TD Ito 103

I have a used TD Ito 103 that I have only taken fishing a couple of times. Love the reel but the first trip I lost the handle nut cover. I kept fishing it and the nut kept working loose and I figured it was because the cover was missing and not keeping the nut from loosening. I bought a replacement handle nut cover, tightened the nut hand tight, but there is a little play in the handle and if I take the nut cover off I can we that I can work the not loose by rocking the handle back and forth. The threads don't look or feel stripped to me but obviously something has happened and I know stripping the driveshaft is common. Could it be anything else? Maybe a different nut? I see one thing washer behind the handle between the handle and star and that is it.

That thin washer sounds to be damaged from over-tightening the nut. Get another one of those and you should be ok. I've doubled those up if there is visual damage to the back of the handle where it hits the shoulders on the drive shaft.

If I wanted to use a zillion type r drag star (and use a swept handle) would I have to use a zillion handle collar? Or will the tatula collar work? I used a tatula collar with a tatula drag star on my other tdz but not sure about the zillion drag star.

Tackle trap has tatula collars but not zillion.

If not anyone know where I could find the zillion collar?

Any idea what collar id need with an slp drag star?

I bought an Ito carbon handle that I was going to put on my steez sv tw but I might want to put it on the TD Ito instead
