E-clip size for Daiwa spools?

Post by Houndfish » Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:28 am

Hi,

I want to do a little inductor swaping on my sv103 and sv105 stock spools. I am am trying to find out what the specs are for the e-clip that holds the inductor in place. It's #18 in this diagram: http://www.daiwa.com/us/service/manuals ... 105HSL.pdf

I have a deep hatred of e-clips and want to buy some spares to have on hand before I start messing with them.

Thanks

Drew

Try removing them with the reel inside a big clear plastic bag, so they don't fly as far.

Hah, that was the plan. I have also had good luck containing small springs by working in the bathtub with the curtain pulled and the drain plugged.

I would still like to get some spares though. I gave up trying to find my old e-clip tool so I also want to know the sizing so I can order a new one.
