I have a TRS 100P on the way and was wondering if anyone knew what gear options are available for it, preferably i am looking for something in the 7 or 8 range. I don't believe it will get much use but I definitely wouldn't have any use for the 4.9 gears that are coming with it. Thanks

I can get you set up with a bunch of different options my friend. Just get in touch with me, we have plenty of options available for that gem.

The SV103XS gears are 7.9:1. Those should fit your requirement well.

there are many ratios available in the zillion format , 4.9 (crazy cranker) , 5.3 (j dream), 6.3 , 7.1 , 7.3 ( type r and limited ) and 7.9 ( pe special , j dream , IP79)

Thanks i'm not used to having so many gear options being a td-z head. I really missed the boat with the zillion platform and now trying to make up ground fast. I figured it would be compatible with most others, but this reel looks different than most zillions and wasn't sure if it was a half breed like the sv103 i have been really liking. It should be here next week and i'll have to decide if i am going to get it geared to punch or a little slower bottom contact gear.

I am going to have to hold off on gears. I was pretty sure it would arrive minty but didn’t expect it NIB and the candy apple red paint job is beaut for sure. I couldn’t forgive myself if I scratched this reel so it’s staying on the shelf. I do need some other stuff from you so I will get in touch man. Thanks again for the feedback everyone.
