Gear tooth shapes

Are the teeth in brass gears cut at the same angle and shape as aluminum gears?

Lets just say all the teeth are cut to "mesh" well. I dont think the material has anything to with it, as much as say the manufacturer making the gears.

I was wondering if different materials required different angles, or shapes.

I do know that the brass Sol main gear and the duralumin Alphas main gear will interchange and keep the original pinion gears in their respective reels.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
