Drag Testing Gauge/Tool

Post by cadman » Thu Apr 12, 2018 5:28 am

Does anyone test to see how much drag their reels have? If so what do you use to do this or is there a gauge or tool to test drag tension on a reel? Thanks for any help.

I use a digital trigger pull scale. Works fine for me.

Tie a loop and hang it on a memory spring scale. Pull.

I don't scale check in FW

Is there a need?
