I don't have a reel that needs one right now, but am putting in a parts order and am wondering if there is any universality in this part between reels? I have mainly Curados and Chronarchs from the Bantam line and the E line.
Thanks
Q on Shimano Yoke springs
Re: Q on Shimano Yoke springs
The only data I have recorded is for yoke spring BNT1419 and it will fit the Curado 100B, Curado 50E, Curado 200E7 and the Citica 200E.

Re: Q on Shimano Yoke springs
I wound up needing a yoke spring for a reel I was servicing, so I scrounged one from another manufs reel. Different diameter, but it worked. The posts keep the spring in the right location during assembly, and a spring can be stretched a little in a pinch if the replacement is too short. Too long isn't a problem.
P.S. I found the missing spring when I went to install the remaining one I had found on my bench. Turned out they were both there, just meshed together so they looked like only one. Doh!!!
