Shimano metanium Mgl scratch

Hi guys, I recently noticed my metanium has a scratch that went through the coating on the top of the reel. Also there is a scratch what Ima assume is from the reel seat of my nrx on the bottom of the reel feet. I was wondering what should I do for the scratches should I use clear nail polish to seal the reel? Thanks
