Rustoleum Never Wet

Post by Slazmo » Mon Mar 20, 2017 9:53 pm

Hi,

Anyone played with Rustoleum 'Never Wet' solution before?

Thinking that this could be a viable & repeat coating hack akin to Shimano's "Core Protect" in order to water resist some parts from water sitting and soaking into?

https://www.google.com.au/amp/singletra ... d-mud/amp/

You could coat inside of frames of reels priir to doing a rebuild and around the levelwind etc to shed water and pond scum etc that builds up in these areas as one idea alone, the ideas are quiet endless imho.

Or coat the AR area (under the rotor) inside a spinning reel as to do a home made "core protection".
