Drag upgrade?

Post by 11kalnmitc » Sat Feb 25, 2017 12:45 am

Looking to upgrade the drag on my Liberto Pixy, curious if I can make the drag rated to more lbs and if so where should I start looking?

Smooth drag! They have a kit to change out the drag for a 3 stack setup, it works great.

Would this increase the max drag power?
Thanks

It's an excellent upgrade that increases smoothness and power in the Pixy platform. They are available to order from The Tackle Trap, along with a lot of other Carbontex drag washers here:

Does this plug straight into OG Pixy? Or is the new gear set needed. TIA.

The drag upgrade works in any pixy stock or modded so long as your drag is original.
I like TD-Z's

So additional question, I've ordered the drag stack and new Boca orange seals for it. However one of the clips on the handle nut cover snapped off on my Alphas 103, is there a reasonably priced handle assembly I can buy for my Alphas 103 or can i get that handle nut cover for it somewhere?

The TD-Z handle nut retainer will fit right on there if you want to replace your broken part:

There are several handle replacement options as well. If you get a TD-Z 103H Handle Assembly, it comes with 4 bearings, handle knobs, and end caps. You would still need the nut plate retainer listed above.

 Hey, I try! The shop has expanded the Daiwa parts selection quite a bit lately with more small repair parts to be added soon. Thank you very much for the orders!
