Yes you can. T3-1016 spool is a nice upgrade, as are the SV spools and the DIY BFS Spools. T3 MX spool rocks in a Steez but is only average in a TDZ. Must be different magnets or something.Yetti wrote:Can you put a spool from a t3 in a tdz type r

The TD-Z has stronger magnets than the Steez, hence why the R+ is loved in the TD-Z and a bit wild in the Steez.IlliniDawg01 wrote:Yes you can. Speaking of R+ spools, I will have a red one from a Steez 103SH for sale in a few days. I bought a tdz type r and put the t3 1016 spool in it and wow big difference it made
