Looking to change the 5.3:1 gear set in a Revo3 Winch to something faster. Are there any faster gear sets that will fit in the Revo 3 Winch? I know this is counter productive, but it's not my reel.Something like the gear set of the Gen3 STX-HS? Would probably have to go with washers, I would just have to compare schematics and part numbers, but mainly wondering if the gears would work?

I don't think it will work, but this is based on previous models. Models with the one piece spool shaft do not use the same gear set as models that use the two piece shaft. Reason being is the distance to the pin in the shaft that the pinion gear engages is a different distance on each type of spool. So I believe it is the short spool shaft version that requires a longer pinion gear.
