Gloss or Semi-Gloss?

I'm painting my reels and I am undecided on what clear coat to use. Anyone have good pics of their examples? Thinking of all black or white. Also, I wanted to put back some Daiwa logos, are there any transfers out there or do I need to cut out a template? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm going to try these when I repaint my reels. Several similar ones available in some different sizes.
