I'm kinda interested in trying the pixy spool for the coming season. Can anyone tell me what's the bearing size of the Ray's Studio pixy spool? I wanna install some Air BFS on that thing :o

You won't be able to reuse the purple Ray's micro bearing holder. It's a they're different sized bearings. You'll have to order the complete air BFS bearings for Pixy. The Ray's bearings are pretty decent actually.

No not off the top of my head but I imagine that info can be easily found.

Fund these pics. They're supposed to be out, but i can't find them on aliexpress. Spools are supposed to be 5.7g without bearing and 6.7g with bearing

Nice. Those look like the Momo spools for the Abu reels but for Daiwa and fixed inductor. Maybe West Door Fishing has them?

Using parts I had on hand from other reel builds, I don't even have the full retail cost of the reel in it lol! Can't wait to see if it performs as well as looks.

I am going to get this same reel and DIY spool and pair it with a ark invoked rod

No luck on tracking down the new fixed inductor DIY spools but I did find these. Says they are for the Shimano Bass One 150/151 but I bet it would fit a Caenan too. Looks like you have to reuse the original brake blocks.

Did you find those on another forum, or just out floating around on the interwebs? Either way, it has made the short list for near future purchases.

I fund the pics on a jdm forum i randomly googled when searching for pictures of a reel. Tried to find them on ebay or aliexpress but no luck. But for how light they are, i sure am interested in trying one for an OG steez and a pixy if there's pixy spools as well.

Its Japanese. China copied it from the Megabass spools. And it certainly is ali stuff. You can tell by the bearing, spool itself and the anodised color, which is the same as ali spools.

Yeah, they look just like the honeycomb Studio of Momo spool for the Abu reels on Aliexpress.
