Carbonex drag washers, better bearings for spool, better handle with bearings.........It has magforce v, which is great for for small crankbaits. Also there are 5:1 or 6:3 gear sets available. This reel handles PP braided line well and can also use heavy lines for flippen. You can also replace the side plates with the aluminum ones from the more expensive TDX.

I had three of these reels when they first came out and loved them. I wish I had keep at least one of them. I have upgraded several levels since then, but I miss them.
