Parts I'm preping for 2 reel bodys that are with calfish. Get supplies from your local jewelry supply co. The Fabluster is super with a dremel tool. If you have to hand polish use this...

GREAT WORK!

Did you polish the gear teeth as well?

The gear teeth are what counts... the rest is for show/fun. I polish all contact surfaces and all major metal parts. When the wife saw the main gear polished, she wanted to wear it on a necklace  .. Really !

The dremel bits are from the jewelry supply place. They are sold by the piece from bulk bins. I get two sizes in med and soft. Around .50 to .75 each. They wear down in use. Usually 3 or 4 per reel depending. Note* If you use the Simichrome you need to clean after buffing, it leaves a protective film. I always do a final naptha clean after any buffing/polishing.

Seems expensive for 1 brush. Also cannot tell what the brush material is or how firm it is. The bits I use are a natual fiber I believe in a med and a soft. If you want some polish bits and polish let me know and I can get some for you. Also the supplier may do mail order, I can check.

Are the dremel bits fine wire brushes? I have a bunch of them that came with my rotary tool kit but never used them because I thought they might leave marks on the gears. So they should be fine to use right.

Great Post by the way.

These are not wire brushes. They are a fiber material, may be natural or synthetic. I think they are a natural bristle.

I use the fixed brushs and these replacable ones...

Found some on Amazon. Do the wheels fit on a standard Dremel 402 Mandrel?

Can you use Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish instead of Fabulustre?
http://www.mothers.com/02_products/05100-05101.html

4- 1" Medium Hair with mandrel
http://www.amazon.com/Polishing-Brushes ... 72&sr=1-31

12- 1" Medium Hair
http://www.amazon.com/Medium-Wheel-Jewe ... 72&sr=1-32

12- 1" Soft Hair
http://www.amazon.com/Wheel-Brush-Jewel ... 72&sr=1-39

UPDATE:
They seem to be cheaper, with shipping, to buy directly from FindingKing.com.

6-1"Medium Hair

6- 1" Soft Hair
