Spool Storage-Baitcast

Post by egore1 » Sat Feb 16, 2019 4:00 pm

I am curious if someone could provide a recommendation to purchase some of the 35mm spool containers that are included with aftermarket spools. I have some extra spools and need to come up with storage ideas for them, I was thinking about putting them in the plastic containers with my extra line but am open to other suggestions. Most of my extras are from Daiwa but I have a few from Shimano that are longer due to the spool axle.

So what do people use for storing their extra spools???

Thanks,
Ian

I used these from garden hose packaging. Little bit of foam at the tip to stop the sideways slop. At the bottom where the spool weights are there is a lifted circular collar which keeps the end of the spool off the bottom of the jar.

Extremely durable plastic and that push down lid is super secure!

Not sure what you have State side but yeh look for something left of field. I'm just pissy I didn't get more of these things when they were available...

You can get these eyepiece cases which are essentially the same thing as most spool cases you would get from alixexpress or jdm sites, etc at half the price - the 37x60mm is the one you want for most baitcasters.
