Shimano saltwater bag

Post by Rodster14 » Sat Mar 19, 2022 1:43 pm

My saltwater water bag is looking a little rough. I’m thinking about getting a Shimano Baltica bag (medium). It would double as my “leave in the truck” fish from shore bag. Thoughts?

I had switched from Shimano soft bag to Meiho Versus hard case and never looked back. Way more functional and more durable at the same time.

That's quite a few models, which one are you using and like?

I'm using the BM-5000 : https://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/pro ... black.html

With a couple of rod stand mounted onto the box : https://meihotacklebox.com/products/mei ... -rod-stand

Those look kinda cool. Those optional rod holders are pretty secure? Maybe stable is a better word. Like would a couple of heavier rods and stiff wind result in a tipped-over mess?
