ultralight salt water

Post by RIng » Tue Apr 04, 2017 4:49 am

I have ordered a Nissin Curtis Kirari 703 S . I have tenkara fished for years and Nissin rods are my favert . The rod is a painted rod and quit different looking . It is 7' 3" , 2 pce. , 2 -6 lb. line , for .5g - 8.0 g lures . I fish the Chesapeake Bay march for white perch , smaller rock fish , see trout etc. I have caught 20" rock fish on 10 lb braid with 4 - 6 lb. flor leader . I am hoping that the rod will not be over matched . I am very inpatient to get it and see it and fish with it . If it is as good as my Nissin tenkara rod it will be a good one .

I have not fished the Nissin much . I have been using a Seeker 7'- 2 pce. - 1-4 lb E glass that I built a few weeks past . I have caught many rock fish 12- 20 " and 20+ white perch 8-10 " . I have 6 # bread with 4 # flor. leader .Using 1/8 oz spinner bates and 1/8 oz jig head with 1 1/2 " twister tale . fun - fun
