Daiwa Exist Branzio 2508 reel spooled with fireline crystal matched to a custom 7'2 North Fork Composite rod. Eva Split grip. Fugi Sic ti guides. Rated from 1/8 to 3/8. Cotee jigs, popping cork. hair jig and shrimp.......I have been toying with using my favorite ul/light crappie combo for school size specs next time I am in South Florida or Texas.

NRX rod and Conquest DC would be my choice. I have the Conquest DC, and maybe one day I can talk my accountant (wife) into letting me get a NRX.

For bottom fishing using Brown Lures soft plastics with NRX 852, tuned Chronarch 100D7, and 20lb Sufix braid with a 6 ft 15 lb fluoro leader.

For top and mid water fishing using Spook Jrs or Catch 5's or Fat Boys with NRX 854, tuned Chronarch 100D7, and 20lb Sufix braid with a 6 ft 20 lb fluoro leader.

With these setups you have a shot at fish others can't reach.
