jigging reels

Post by radu » Fri Jun 27, 2003 8:33 pm

hi, i am new to this forum, glad to meet you all and keep up the good fishin' .

i was wondering :?: whether anyone had any experience with the Calcutta 400 and the Ocea Jigger 3000. I intend to buy one (or maybe both, the former for shallower and the later for deeper water, mainly for jigging). and also, how would you juge the Ocea Jigger comparing to Daiwa Saltiga 30?

thank you very much, hope to hear from you soon! 8)

Welcome radu!

I don't have this size, but the Calcuttas are great reels and can
stand up to a lot. I have a friend who has the Calcutta 400
and he uses it for jigging for rock cod and also use it for salmon
fishing at times, and he loves it.
