I moved it to here. If you had some pictures, I would have stuck it in Show and Tell. I've heard of fishing with shrimp but how in the world do you fish for shrimp? :?

okay, to fish for shrimp, you get a rod about 3 feet long, ultra ULTRA light with... i think 2 pound test. You get these baby barbless hooks, a float, and some chicken/pig liver and some baby preserved shrimp. you sit around this pool which is unnaturally murky so you can't see the shrimp. you just chuck it near bubbles because shrimp like them and when the bobber goes down, that means the shrimp has it in its claws. if you feel a light tug, and the bobber is down, the bait is in its mouth. instead of hooking it, a light tug back will do and lift the shrimp out of the water, like fishing a calcutta pole. they toss and turn and fight hard. when you lift em out, they aren't the baby shrimp you see in the supermarket, they're the size of the top of my middle finger to the end of my palm... about 10 cm... 4 inches... maybe 5-6 inches fully stretched... it's a lot of fun. I read the article about Zander going to taipei and shrimp fishing so I found one and went.

DOn't forget to shine your flashlight through the bottom of the sack. That's what attracts them!

But ya gotta be careful not get attacked by squirrels... they may think you're a NUT! :P G
