whel live bait is not that easy to find, I'll probavly go whit lure.

I'm also very interested in Surf fishing. I have used large spinning reels like huge Stradics and Sedona's before but they just disn't cut it in the salt or cast well. I've seen people use some fo the bug Daiwa surf spinning reels, the ones with the huge conical spool. They look nice, and I have seen guys cast real far with them...but they cost a fortune! Anybody know of any other true surf spinning reels taht are in the 150 dollar range?
