ANYONE FOR CARP!!!! GREASEMONKEY IN THE FIGHT OF HIS LIFE!!!

Post by djmarvelous1 » Fri Jun 16, 2006 4:56 pm

Greasemonkey caught this 25lbs + carp on 06/09/06 fishing a bomber shad. This fish put up a great fight and we managed to capture some of that fight on greasemonkey's cell phone. Anyway here are the pictures of that monster!!!!! :D

Now that's a FISH and a Fisherman!!!

I would have never thought a carp would hit a crankbait  . Maybe different types of carp will hit different baits but those(grass carp) that are here are very 'spooky' and havn't taken the Senkos and Chatterbaits that I've thrown at them :? .

Lol yea, the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was for the poor reel in the sand! Nice fish though.

Very NICE. I caught one on the Pixy this week that took me 35 mins to get in. It was around 20-25lbs on some meal. Nothing else was biting so I went for these in my buddies pond. 4lb LINE!

Black/blue flake licorice scented and red shad strawberry scented Senkos deadsticked are good carp baits.
