Newbie showoff...
Glad to see a site dedicated to we tackle junkies. I'm on a few other forums, and there are a few recognizable usernames on here. I love tackle almost as much as fishing itself. These are some rod fore-grip covers I made for my rods. I think people on this forum might actually appreciate them
Some blue and purple examples...
They are heat shrink, as you can see prior to using a heat gun/hairdryer...
Out in the field...
A few of my reels...

Awesome collection dude, sensational. I think you did a really good job with the foregrip covers, they look great.

Im curious, whats the purpose of the covers? Looks cool. By the way, your handles are on the wrong side.

The purpose of the covers is to keep the cork foregrips chalky new, and provide bling of course . I use rod wrap on my handles, so the foregrip covers add some color, and if I decide to sell a rod, the cork doesn't look new on the handle, and weathered on the foregrip. I'm one of those anal people who wax their fishing rods and care about keeping my cork looking new

I didn't want to show pictures of all my rods, but I also have pink covers on my spinning rods, green covers on my jig and worm glx's (besides purple), and clear covers on my cbr's.

Personally I'm not too worried what my rods look like as look as they serve my purpose.I'm curious as to what your other rods look like. Not something I'd do but you did a nice neat job.

Just out of curiosity, is your boat pink, violet and blue?
Re: Newbie showoff...
I've seen people wrap the handle, but never the top like you do. Something different...
What color IS your boat?

No, but this legend with those colors looks good. The baby blue trailer and 20's are too much, but I really like the boat . I try not to let being macho comprimise what I think looks good. I only own a small boat that I use at our lakehouse and on small waters. I fish as a non-boater in my bass club and on the skeeter tour, and fish most of the everstart practice days with my uncle whom is a skeeter pro staffer. I'm fresh out of college and just got married, and there won't be a boat payment until after we build a house .

Natural,
Welcome to the site. I know we've bought/traded/sold a few things in the past on TFF. Im sure youll love it here, great minds and a wealth of information. Nice reels and rods by the way. Im looking for another pixy to go with my yellow, want to get rid of one of the red ones???? haha. Also the legend is sweet, I saw tim clines post about it. Have a good one, and good luck with the house. Ive been married almost a year and we are making it with the house and a boat payment, just have to get an older boat that will suffice for a few years before you can get a legend like that one!!!

Hey there golfer pimp...you indeed took an 'extra' scorpion off my hands if I remember correctly. Sorry...can't part with either pixy , they blow away my other reels, and somehow they find their way into my hands more than any of my other reels. I tried to 'pep up' my alphas with the ize' spools, but they still don't outcast my pixy's.
