Zillion SV with a twist.

Post by breamtim » Sat Jan 25, 2020 11:02 pm

Hi all

Thought some might be interested to see an Australian reel, the Daiwa TD Sol III SV casting reel. Recently discontinued, I picked this one up for the price of a Tatula from the tackle store I work at. Essentially a Zillion SV with new paint and a new handle, this one is stock except for the TD Ito spool I put in there.

Yep, I've had my eye on those for awhile now. If that frame was a little more palm-friendly, I would have already ordered one for myself.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I thought those were Tatula CT based? It takes 1016 spools?

Yeah, comes with an SV spool with no shaft (free floating) and takes the ito spool fine so Zillion based.
