What part of the lake did you catch it in? I had a 9.71 off of Shag Rock the summer before last. I was packed and ready to make the 11.5 hour trip to Clearlake all of this last August, but I never had the chance to go because of the fires. I think that I will have to fish an extra week this summer to make up for it! :D I'm not sure that there is anything left to burn. :cry:

You should have made the trip! There was hardly anyone on the lake and the fishing was really good.

The motel that I stay at was fairly close to the fire lines. I was afraid to pull the trigger. I'm a stickler about my boat not being filthy. I didn't want to stay in the south end either. I had a feeling that I should have gone anyway! ](*,)
