My first Spinning gear set....
My first Spinning gear set....
Hi All,
Received my first Daiwa spinning reel, 18 Daiwa Exist LT2500-XH 2days ago....
load the line on the spool..... and cut eveything short...
I saw so big gap between the handle and the body of the reel, is that usual in spinning reel like this?
change the handle to the right (righty) and i see the gap as well is that common? Thanks in advance.
Regards,
WW

1st, 600 plus views and no reply? Madness I say I thought for sure someone would have chimed in. Good luck in getting your gap/space issue addressed I am sure somebody has something for you, as that would drive me bananas as well.
2nd, I believe I see the real problem in this situation

Re: My first Spinning gear set....
I have a Ballistic EX that has that gap when the handle is on the right side but there's no gap when the handle is on the left side. I have the handle on the right side and it doesn't seem to have any effect on the reel's performance but it is kind of weird.
