Does anyone make a blue colored finesse spool for the Alphas platform?

Re: Show us your Sol
What blank is that you're talking about ? I'm asking because I am also looking for a blank for a BFS rod for chub and perch and any advice is welcome. The reel I already have is an Orange Amber Pixy.Houndfish wrote:This is a timely thread as I am looking for a orange reel to go on a BFS rod with a royal blue blank. I was looking at an Amber Orange Pixy, but man, some of those Sols are gorgeous looking. Am I right in thinking that they are just an orange, USDM version of the Alphas 103?
Re: Show us your Sol
I am not sure they still make them in blue, I have been checking ebay and aliexpress every month for like six months now and have not seen one in blue for the Alphas or Pixy.spencerinstl wrote:There is also a blue rays studio spool.
It's a St Croix Legend Inshore UL/M casting rod I bought from the classifieds here. I got it in my quest for the "ultimate 1/8oz inline spinner" combo. The rod is perfect and my PX68 w/ Ray's spool works great, but I want a reel that looks better on it.radu_andrei wrote: What blank is that you're talking about ? Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
Re: Show us your Sol
Maybe.. I have a couple orange ccc kicking around somewhere.. I liked the simple look/mods on these reels for some reason.. TDZ handles, compressed cork knobs, 7.2 gears and the SV spool so far. I need to get the fast worm shaft yet..spencerinstl wrote: Very nice. How about an orange or purple cast control cap?
Thanks for the compliments!
