Yup. I just installed it last night, so haven't fished it yet, but based on the fit and finish I'm sure it will do just fine. Honestly, it looks just as nice as my rcs hadles. I'm impressed enough that I now have a smaller one on the way for my SV105 hahaLowRange wrote:Is that a Basszone handle? How do you like it?evilcatfish wrote:Wee bit of purple in there...

I like how the Basszone look like RCS handles and will be switching to those for future carbon handles for my Daiwa reels. The Ray's look like ZPI handles and I not a fan of an after market part knocking off another after market part's appearance by I am OK with one knocking off a manufactuer. I sorta have principles.evilcatfish wrote:Yup. I just installed it last night, so haven't fished it yet, but based on the fit and finish I'm sure it will do just fine. One thing with the Basszone though is you'll need extra shims to get the play out of the knobs if you switch them out. Just keep that in mind if you don't have some extras laying aroundLowRange wrote:I like how the Basszone look like RCS handles and will be switching to those for future carbon handles for my Daiwa reels. UGH!!! Tar and feather!!aussiebasser wrote:Yes, it hurts. They took a total of 33 of my reels. But I'll rebuild the team.LowRange wrote:That is a shame. Your Zombie Z is one of my favorites on this site. What a loss.aussiebasser wrote:Did someone say Purple?
Sadly the Zombie Z was stolen recently, if you see it for sale, let me know. I'd like to catch the guy who has it.
Insurance pay for any of it?

Re: Post purple
Insurance has been very good. Fortunately I had photos of all the reels stolen. I've received a lot of support from anglers and the industry in general. A reel very similar to the Z2020 was returned to Daiwa Australia for service and they notified the Tackle Shop that the reel was stolen. It wasn't mine, however it's very reassuring to know that the guys at Daiwa are keeping an eye out for them.Tokugawa wrote:UGH!!! Tar and feather!!aussiebasser wrote:Yes, it hurts. Sorry for the crappy pic, my flash is screwy on my phone.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Nice, you have so many so not sure if that is familiar as it looks.hoohoorjoo wrote:Sorry for the crappy pic, my flash is screwy on my phone.
