I don't know about that orange sv spool, I think a red one would look much better. Should be a fun reel to fish.

You may be right. I like originality of the orange spool, but a utilitarian look on an anything but a utilitarian reel is a bit off :lol: . I eyed that reel for a while when it was first introduced, but I'm not a collector, and I don't need another reel with those specs. I would love to see that reel done with the frame and parts done in a rare color. The red is beautiful, but I think a rare color would be a lot harder for me to pass up.

Killer reel. I don't know what you plan to use it for, but the stock spool it comes with is one smooth criminal. I have one in my USDM Steez SV103, and it's such an improvement over the spool it came with. It's by far my favorite deeper SV spool.
