few more.......one with my go to TD Luna 103l aesthetically back to stock. I definitely look forward to putting this thing through its paces it's getting to be about jig season I think so probably start with that go with the big profile half ounce rubber football with a kinky Beaver trailer. Probably go to Carolina rigs and after that then definitely top Waters and just about anything else I can throw on there :big grin: Immaculate build Megabass always seems to impress they really did it with this ASL series, thus far aesthetically ASL is just a sexy f**king build !! I look forward to getting back with some water time thoughts and opinions. Always look forward to sharing with you cats. This thing is a light for this length of a rod and the wrapping goes all the way up to the tip which seems to verify they are more than likely built on X7 blanks which is excellent!! In any case I definitely look forward to getting this on the water. the glossy carbon handle feels real nice in the hand and I really like the end of the handle how they made an oval, I thought it was crushed at 1st =P~

Gorgeous Cristo...

Have you used the MB Seven Eleven rods before? If so, what techniques do you plan on using it for?

I had one. The one that is basically the same was the my beloved X4 Black Python. Lost her awhile ago. Mentioned that in a couple different posts. Anyway what a versatile rod. Well like most rods especially for MB the right reel and line combo these sticks are crazy nice!! Weightless plastics in weeds, jigs, t rigs, C rigs, mag TWs, gliders and deep cranks. Damn things are bad azz....

A true work of art, congrats Cristo! I hope she brings you many years of joy. Thank you for allowing me and The Tackle Trap crew for being part of making it happen.

Thanks to you ayo8 - glad yours are part of your outstanding line up too!

Someone needs to start an ARMS appreciation society thread around here

Congrats, Cristo, on your acquisitions! Interested to hear your thoughts on the ASL7005. What are you planning to use it for?
I wish Megabass made a 2 piece ARMS model, so I could take it everywhere with me. I would definitely get one or two if that were the case.

I am with you. I love Megabass 2 or multi piece rods. In regard to the ASL7005 I believe I will start off with the 5 inch spark shad, 6/0 ewg 1/4oz belly weighted hook set up with 40lb braid, maybe 15lb floro. The tip is quite different from what I expected a fast tip rod would be for this type of blank. I suspect this could be what I believe Gary mentioned to me it was close to the Diablo fast move in the x 7 Series. The tip is more medium-fast to me, Definitely feels a little more Stout then say the x 7 Extreme mission that I have. Kind if feels like a longer XX Spinnerbait special to me. I never got to fish a Diablo fastmove so I can't speak intelligently on the relationship but none the less the rod is sick and I look forward to putting it through its paces :big grin:
