Good evening guys! We just got back from another wicked trip here in Ontario. Fishing was tough but the most successful I've ever seen. Got some giant largemouth this trip and was super blessed. We started the trip off with 2' of higher water, being a river system with small lakes stuck between the channels it dropped 3-6" per day. The week started off great in what would normally be 1' back bays now held 3-4' of water. Big fish were shallow then they immediately left when the depth dropped. I fished main lake weed lines as well as deeper banks with vegetation and rock. Pitching Jig's was a no-go couldn't get but 2 bites in 2 weeks wasting hours and hours. I sweat by that little 3.5" Texas-Rig Jig in shallower water, wood, docks etc. I decided to rig it up and pitch it in deeper weed and it was the golden bait for me this trip. Ok here are a couple Laker's couldn't help but do a couple trolls with the lead core and Vision 110+1. Megabass did a custom colour for us here in Canada called GLX Northern Reaction it's a Lake Trout killer apparently caught em real good for me last September.
