I installed the ZPI's last week. Honestly I can't tell much of a difference in distance overall with them. That said, the JDM bearings that Shimano puts in these V2's are already damn good bearings so that may be a factor.
Few fish from its first outing. Had one solid 2.5 pounder and the rest were dinks. The bigger one put up a helluva good fight too. Rod has plenty of backbone. Very impressed with this new GLX.
