I've been using Kistler for some time now and very pleased with their product. This weekend I was at Fishing Tackle Unlimited's annual salesman sample and tent sale in Houston and the boys from Shimano had a nice spread of goodies...
I came across four rods that I couldn't resist. 852C JWR 852C JWR 822S SYR and 782C MBR... now the kicker... I paid $220 a piece for them... now if i could just find a 854 JWR for the same price i'd be golden
Paired the 852 with a Shimano Aldebaran and the 853 with the 13 Met... can't wait to test them out. Very nice crisp actions and very light. The 822S is a shaky head rod and also very impressed with the action and crispness.
These are my first G Loomis rods...

You stole those rods! Great prices. Not sure which kistler model you were using, but you should feel an improvement in sensitivity.
