Here's my latest build. A tuned custom Abu 1500C. Currently working on a 2500C

Wowwwww that looks amazing! I usually don't like those classic round reels but that's really classy.

Gorgeous! Are those knobs bearing supported? I have a couple of the Morrum Forrells and one of them had a rosewood knob that binds up when it is really cold.
Nothing like the smell of two stroke in the morning.

Very nice. I have 4 2500c's but my only 1500 has a tweaked frame so is waiting for Shimormura to come out with one of his custom frames. If Pure Fishing had an ounce of intelligence they'd make another re-addition of these, there are a lot of us who would pay stupid money for more of them.

When the 2500C came out it was a perfect fit for the new graphite rods. Let us see the 2500C when you finish. The 1500C is awesome, great work.

It's an Avail Spool. I have both a 2mm and 4mm.

I love seeing the classic abu's revived. So many memories fishing them for salmon steelhead in the northwest.
