My two son's got custom spinning rods for their last birthdays at 6 and 8. I can't wait to buy them casting reels when they get older. I can appreciate that angle--you don't want peeps lowballing you when you are selling rare or high end stuff. On the flipside, I look at those pictures and remember reviews for rods like the Evergreen Black Racer that I kick myself for not getting when I had the chance.Cal wrote:Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen. Impressive Cal. What is more telling is that It takes a different mind to be able to keep so many reels without selling them along the journey.
