My two son's got custom spinning rods for their last birthdays at 6 and 8. I can't wait to buy them casting reels when they get older. It has to be good enough for me to fish if it goes in my boat!Cal wrote:I taught my son and daughter how to use casting gear with the Daiwa T3 Air and Shimano Aldebaran BFSfishermun wrote:Hey Cal, are you looking to adopt? They're already old enough!toddmc wrote:I can't wait to buy them casting reels when they get older.
I can appreciate that angle--you don't want peeps lowballing you when you are selling rare or high end stuff. On the flipside, I look at those pictures and remember reviews for rods like the Evergreen Black Racer that I kick myself for not getting when I had the chance.Cal wrote:Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen. I've grown tired of listing my stuff for sale because most people on here are looking for deals. Anything that I have that's worth selling I won't sell as "good deal" because I take good care of my equipment AND when i do sell, I want to be assured my stuff is going to a home where it will be appreciated. I'm funny that way.papabassin wrote:That'd be intense...jmb27 wrote:Need to know when the mother of all classified sales begins...
So instead, I just hoard away

Nah, that is only if a Megabass reel gets too hot and needs to cool down!Slazmo wrote:Thats why their is a fire extinguisher strapped to the side of the cabinet.Fishing4Fun wrote:I would imagine so if a Shimano got too close to a Daiwa
