I taught my son and daughter how to use casting gear with the Daiwa T3 Air and Shimano Aldebaran BFS

My two son's got custom spinning rods for their last birthdays at 6 and 8. I can't wait to buy them casting reels when they get older. It has to be good enough for me to fish if it goes in my boat! ;)

That'd be intense...
Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen. I've grown tired of listing my stuff for sale because most people on here are looking for deals. Anything that I have that's worth selling I won't sell as "good deal" because I take good care of my equipment AND when i do sell, I want to be assured my stuff is going to a home where it will be appreciated. I'm funny that way.

So instead, I just hoard away
I can appreciate that angle--you don't want peeps lowballing you when you are selling rare or high end stuff. On the flipside, I look at those pictures and remember reviews for rods like the Evergreen Black Racer that I kick myself for not getting when I had the chance.

Still, hit me with a PM if you are selling...

Impressive Cal. What is more telling is that It takes a different mind to be able to keep so many reels without selling them along the journey.

I would imagine so if a Shimano got too close to a Daiwa

Nah, that is only if a Megabass reel gets too hot and needs to cool down!
