great stuff!
Thanks! I got into bass fishing just about 1 year ago so my experience has mostly been with SV spools only. Pretty crazy how much gear I acquired in a year . Anyways, from my experience the SV spools all pretty much behave similar but each reel has its own personality. I love the fact that once the tension knob is set I just use the magnetic dial for all the brake tuning. Makes it simple and effective.frankdi wrote:Sweet reels. Are the SV reels as good as Al Linder says they are? Does the spool perform on all the different reels the same. I have a lot to learn about those spools.
Thanks man! I love small round reels and I couldn't pass it up when I saw it NIB on eBay. I got it for $160 which I think is a pretty awesome price. I use the Luna for shallow to mid depth cranks and lipless. The Conquest I just got it for Christmas and only taken it out once. I'm planning to use it for moving type baits; spinnerbaits, vibrating jigs, etc. Still looking for a new rod for it. The new 2017 Destroyers look very tempting...Obz wrote:Nice! I really like your round ones! Jealous of the Luna 103. I hope it will be my first rounder for bass, they aren't easy to find. What teqnuiques do you use the Luna and conquest for? A TD-z or a steez would be a nice addition to your line up. I have a alphas sv and a couple sv 103's love em.
Seems one of each would be nice. I would love to take a Metanium tricked out with some ZPI components.MardukFIN wrote:Nice collection so far.
Maybe Steez, Aldebaran, Metanium or Core? Seems you're missing magnesium framed reels.

Thanks! I plan to do a drag upgrade to all my reels in the future. Just been too lazy latelyTokugawa wrote:Put some Carbontex in those reels!
Nice arsenal!
Don't forget about the 2 Steez LTDs you have for sale. Those are nice reels as well.
Yep, I agree. They sure are nice. Really smooth too!ccass wrote: Don't forget about the 2 Steez LTDs you have for sale. Those are nice reels as well.
Its also nice having both right and left handed reels, it reduces the wear and tear on 1 wrist, especially if you pitch a lot.
They are great reels, got one on a x4 destruction.
