I was thinking the same thing. I don't like the black faceplate of the A.O.I. though. I think the all black frame and faceplate makes the A.O.I. look like some of the cheaper all black plastic reels of the past. Don't get me wrong, I'd take an A.O.I. in a heartbeat, but this reel with the contrasting silver faceplate looks better in my opinion.hungry_cow wrote:Reminds me of the A.O.I. Very nice job!

That looks so awesome. Very classy color/finish combinations. It is expensive to have a reel painted well but when you have a keeper it is worth it. That is going to be a joy to use and I bet the insides look even better!
