Heck yeah bud! Love big Crappie
Re: Putting the bfs xg to work
How much was that handle? That is the sharpest looking handle I've seen yet
And did it come with the knobs or was that an extra splurge?? Either way congrats!! I love that first trip with new gear.

It's an 80 mm zpi bfs handle I got off ebay. Think it was around $100. Knobs are the older model aluminum knobs I got off a buddy. Hard to find.
Plan to put them on a zpride whenever that happens...

Awesome pics man. Can't wait to get this reel for myself! I will be pairing it with my new Poison Glorious 66L+ BFS Rod when it finally ships sometime in April/May?

With the new Revo LTZ BF8 coming out, looks like it's going to be a BFS year

Nice Slab bro!
Re: Putting the bfs xg to work
I'm always so envious of guys living in places that are a stone's throw away from spots where they can put BFS gear to good use. It looks so fun but I can't justify investing into the gear and then having to drive ~1 hour each way to pay the permit fee and likely rental boat fee at the "local" lakes. I feel unlucky but maybe I should consider myself lucky because of how much money it saves me I doubt I would be able to stop at 1 combo.
Nice crappie and nice setup, looks like a blast.

Re: Putting the bfs xg to work
There are lakes are BFS specific? If you can use a UL-ML spinning rod then i don't see why you cant use a L-ML BC rod there either.
