I'm going to try to do it myself. Probably some combination of black, gunmetal, and silver. I'm going to try to do some sort of subtle speckling on a base coat. I prefer my colors to be on the accessories and rod accents.

I looked a long time for one of these in this shape. A buddy of mine was pivotal in bringing this to fruition. He went above and beyond. Thanks, bro! :D =D>

All these TD-Z's are really proving to be classic beauties in its own level, timeless and best of all is their performance still can keep up to the newer reel today. Really very nice and keep the picture coming whether custom or in original shape. =D> =D> =D> =D>

I have yet to own one of these but its on my list. Which one should I look for first? (To fish and not just as a collection piece) I have had Alphas, Steez, and PXR but never a TDZ.

It is as close to new as it could be. I can't find one flaw. Came with original corks and chrome end caps. I don't know if I will bring myself to fish it. It and my NIB ito may be the center of a display case.

I'd shelf it. I'm looking for one thats not going to cost me an organ to display. The stock paint is so easily scratched I'd be worried about messing it up if I fished it. That and I have plenty of TD-Z's to fish as is.
