god dammit!!!! i hate it when it chips. Why can't every reel's paint hold as well as the one on an Airy Red Pixy!? :crying:

I never put my reels on any hard surfaces. I swear if it chips simply by holding the Viola............... :evil:

Though these reels are really nice for eye candy, would you say they are better performers than an SV Steez? I would think that there would be an SV spool in the IS since they are the cats meow as far as Daiwa spools, no? Please dont take this the wrong way, just would like to get some good info on what really makes these IS reels better per say?

These were all pretty much released prior to the SV spool. Daiwa has yet to do an IS SV. They're just stock IS reels with limited paint jobs.

Personally I like the performance of a IS over a stock steez. SV wise, if you want a SV IS, just pop a SV spool in....
