I've already told you a zillion times what I think of your collection, bro. Needless to say, after seeing your newest addition, you're still king of the 'block.

Gotta wonder when the variant craze ends...too many and they become less "speciale".
While I agree that MB should start up a new series...These will never become less "speciale" though. Can't downplay these, as there's nothing more beautiful out there in terms of rounders IMO. These are true works of art, and absolutely amazing to fish with in my hands. Second to none.

I'm in it for the long haul, but...I have to agree. Time for something new in terms of a different platform. They've beaten this horse long enough. They are at 10 total right now...perfect time to end the series.

While the Nambu is a "mono block", it's I'ze Factory and not Megabass.

Isn't the 100XR a Daiwa and not a Megabass though?

Nope it is a true MB reel, first true block.

The 100XR was a collaboration between Ito, I'ze and Daiwa. (The Megabass name didn't appear on it or the box or paperwork) It was distributed by Daiwa dealers, not Megabass dealers. Imported to Australia by Daiwa Australia, same as the Nambu Shikki.

If you look closely at this picture you will see the Daiwa logo, the I'ze Factory logo and the Ito logo. No mention of Megabass.

You would be correct. It is featured in the 2007 Megabass catalog as a concept reel between Daiwa and Megabass. So it is akin the the Nambu and really a custom Millionaire...
