If you been a member here for a while you might know that I was on the lookout for an I’ze Light 103L. This reel is hard to find in new or like new condition. With help from this forum I was fortunate enough to find such a reel. Thanks again Spencer (spencerinstl ). My plan for this reel was to build the Ultimate BFS rounder and the man behind the scenes responsible for all the hard work is non other than the master craftsman himself e_bassfisher. Without further ado I present the ONE and only Daiwa i'ze light Million-'AIR’ !

Gears, Spool, drag, bearings and knobs have all been upgraded or modified. I need to give a shout out to a friend of mine, Thank you Ian, a true master craftsman !

Always a beauty from you. Those I'ze Lights are a rare gem and hard to find. Very cool deal. Will a 1010 spool work in there as well?

The rods a Phenix custom K2 build from the man himself Chris Short in colloberation with our very own Martin Lo. It’s special to me and the reel fits it like a glove. Marty please give us some details on this unique and wonderful build (blank and components).
