New BFS setup
It's hard to "show" anything after RISE showed his entire collection...
But here it is... my new BFS setup
Rod: Jackall Nero 6'8" Light
Reel: Daiwa PX68L (Got it when they were on sale @ Plat couple weeks ago.)
Line: Not yet decided
PS: The Nero series is Jackall's own line of rod so it doesn't have a Shimano logo on it. Therefore, it's okay to pair with a Daiwa reel.

Re: New BFS setup
Nice looking rod. The Nero Transpo rods look good too.
Re: New BFS setup
That is a nicely matched combo. A little red on the reel, a little red on the Jackall logo. Winning.

Sweet combo! I was looking at the exact same rod, it looks pretty exquisite in your pics. How does it balance with such a light reel?
Re: New BFS setup
This is the NC-65L, the lightest model in the series.
At 129g, it isn't exactly a very light rod when it's rated for just 1/8-1/4oz lures but it balances perfectly with a reel weighted 160g and below.
Cheers!
Re: New BFS setup
Looks like Daiwa and Jackall got together on this one. Very nice.

Re: New BFS setup
It balances pretty well, right at the fore nut. It will be closer to the reel seat after I spooled line on the reel.Bootytrain wrote:Sweet combo! I was looking at the exact same rod, it looks pretty exquisite in your pics. How does it balance with such a light reel?
