I'm most looking forward to trying out my new to me Stella FB. I've never owned a Stella. I'm a big lover of spinning reels, so it'll be nice to try the Cadillac of spinning reels (from shimano at least). Also, I was only able to use the Calais DC a handful of times last year, as I picked it up (stole it i've now learned, lol) later in the year. I look forward to hearing her sing as I work it in.

By far my favourite setup is my NRX 804S inshore spinning rod, now matched with the Stella, but last year it was used with the Sustain FG. I prefer spinning tackle with weightless senko's however I often fish area's with thick cane. I was using the IMX 844 spinning rod for a bit, but it lacked the sensitivity I wanted - and was used to, having used the 803 NRX spinning rod, until it snapped. I loved the 803 NRX spinning rod, but I over loading it trying to get a fish away from some thick cane and it snapped in half. First time using the wild card. Now I use the 804S inshore and it really meets my needs.

Just received a brand new 893 in the mail from Shimano on a warranty replacement. Checked it over very carefully and it's a clean build!!

This winter has been looooong up here, and it doesn't appear to be ending any time soon.

Hoping the Denali Rosewood works out as my deep cranking stick having real issues find a parabolic blank that I like. I once owned their Mike Murphy JB rod not sure why I don't anymore but I hope the taper carries over to the 903cb.

Edit* Cheaped out and picked up a Chronarch 50E before they go away from the market in the next year or so...Super smooth little reel very impressed. Owned one 2 years ago and sold it.
