My super eiger just came in today from pat and I threw my core 51 on. Seems like it needs a reel a bit heavier to balance better...

I bet a Zonda would sit real nice on this rod

It seems to balance well enough to suit me, but honestly I dont seem to pay much attention to balance... I dont know why. Your right though, I would imagine a slightly heavier reel would balance better since the Eiger (as awesome as it is) is on the heavier side itself.
