It really is an excellent rod. I like mine a lot more than I thought I would.
I see I wasn't the only one that got one with horrible looking cork. It's by far the worst cork I've had on an XX. Still love the rods though.

Beautiful! And I agree shimano reels, like daiwas, are perfect for megabass rods, all my MB's have shimanos on them. Don't get me wrong, I am NOT trying to start a daiwa/shimano debate.

The most famous Megabass sponsor used Shimano reels exclusively. That definitely says something. I mean lets face it every MB spinning rod deserves a Stella and the Aldebaran platform is just fantastic.
