Gone are the ugly 2014 Calcutta Knobs

Post by StarTzar » Sun Nov 30, 2014 3:09 am

I purchased a 2014 Calcutta Conquest and thought that the knobs were the ugliest ever.
So I upgraded with a pair of Livre in Gold and Champagne.

Not the prettiest but definitely like how the stock knobs feel. Livre knobs look awesome =D>

Run wallet, run!

I think my CQ needs those. How do they feel?

Water is starting to freeze here so I haven't tried them out on the water.
However, they are very comfortable and extremely well made.

You know the feeling you get when you first pick up the reel.
Well, you get that same feeling when you first handle the Livre knobs on the reel.
You just know that you have something solid, strong and very smooth.

The original knobs were comfy but I did not like the look.
The Livre's are light and they free spin for what seems to be forever.

Saw this reel in person yesterday. Man, it is nice.
In all honestly I was never blown away but either the Conquest or Livre in all the pictures I've seen but in person they are completely different IMO and amazing!

Your in trouble now Frank! :D

Looks sick but I think I would have just tossed on some normal power septons and used the gold end caps especially in colder weather

I thought of going that route (septum and gold caps). :-k
But then I figured, if I'm gonna pimp it, may as well pimp it hard. 8-)

Looks cool but I can't justify spending $ on a handle that isn't soft, comfortable and grippy they look so cool but don't see the + in real performance. Nice pics man!
