This a 4 pt. Video... the link is only part one... only for the truly afflicted BFS enthusiasts
Reels used are the purple ito ai listed above, Zonda rosso, revo ltx-bf8, and alphas air
Over 40min. Of footage if you watch all 4... skip to pt.4 if you just wanna know my results and which I prefer

Watching vids now... glad to see another BF8 owner. The spool on the LTX weighs 7.57 with bearing.lil_man72 wrote:

Yeah it and the whole reel are very light... I haven't played with the magnets yet... It came with three installed and that's how I've used it

Add more magnets and the 2 gram lures should go farther.lil_man72 wrote:Yeah it and the whole reel are very light... I haven't played with the magnets yet... It came with three installed and that's how I've used it

Dope videoAaronb wrote:Is that a T3 Air spool? It looks like it. Recently I had wondered if the diameter of the spool was right why someone hadn't tried this. Was it a direct fit or did it require modifications? Thanks. Looks great!Martin Lo wrote:The rod and reel had to comply with a few parameters.
SW use, vertical & horizontal presentations, ability for hard/rapid casts.
Then it just has to be best it can be.
We've come up with this, a working rod prototype and a reel dubbed ISA.
Here is what it looks like:

I have a red CCC and line guide screw coming from The Tackle Trap too. That should finish it off pretty good.mada1594 wrote:its crazy how much a little change like a line guide can make. I think that looks so much better than the originalLgMouthGambler wrote:PX68R. Added a TDZ line guide.
